Salah Extends Statement to Liverpool Dressing Room, Discloses Curtis Jones
The Liverpool midfielder has shared that Salah expressed regret to the group of players following the controversy from his public comments.

Salah was left out from a key Champions League match following criticising the club and stating his rapport with Arne Slot had broken down.
“Mo is his own man and he can say his own stuff,” the midfielder said. “He apologised to us and was like: ‘Should anyone feel slighted, I'm sorry.’”
The head coach has refused to disclose on whether he received a personal apology from the 33-year-old forward.
Moving Forward
Jones insisted that the squad's reaction remained positive. “He was the exact same Mo, his demeanour was positive and everybody was exactly the same with him,” he continued.
Jones also implied that a competitor wanting to play is preferable. “It's clear there are specific approaches you can go about things,” he said. “However, if a player is content to just sit out, then I think that’s more of an issue.”
Team Form
The team's performance have been impressive in the matches since the interview fallout. The player is convinced the outburst were not intended to destabilise the squad.
“If passion has boiled over, the source has been from a desire to win,” Jones concluded. “It's behind us and we’re building chemistry, performing and on a positive run.”
